Earth Conservation Corps - 501(c)3 / Non-profit / Organization

About Us.

We believe conservation starts with boots on the ground. The Anacostia River Gave Hope to Many.

The Earth Conservation Corps (ECC) was founded in 1989 and takes as its mission "providing hands-on environmental education, job training and community service programs for people of all ages from diverse backgrounds, with an emphasis on serving at-risk youth from the inner-city neighborhoods of Washington D.C."

By educating the youth and the community, we embarked on an ambitious journey to heal through conservation. We have changed many lives through the years.

In 2020, under our new Leadership of Mrs. YaVonne Boyd, we look to go even further. Continuing our mission and championing our core values and principles to reach further and further.
